Celebration of life memorial service for Kim Davis Rector, 56, will be held at Grand Bayou Resort on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2:00 PM with Brother Shawn Beard officiating. Kim Davis Rector was born February 19, 1963 and lived her life to the fullest, to the beat of her own drum. She left this world suddenly, with too many friends to count, on February 7, 2020. Kim loved life, she loved her family, but more than anything, she loved her daughter, Bridget Walker (fiancé Britney Wimer) and her son Dylan Rector. The last ten years of her life, she devoted to her three precious grandbabies, Addison, Aubree, and Aaron. We all knew Kim and shared memories of years gone by. In those years, Kim made more friends and memories than most people. She was always ready to smile and laugh, or to share your troubles. Kim never abandoned or questioned the burden of friendship. She never met a stranger. Kim left this earthly life to join in the streets of heaven with her mother, Sue Lane Giddings Davis, sister Brenda Pullig, and brother Robert Charles "Bubba" Davis. Kim left behind to cherish her life her brothers, Kenny and Roger Davis, sisters Gayle (Ernie) Culver and Nita (Moochie) Allen; nephews, Mike Davis, Jacob Tune, Kyle Davis, Casey Allen, Jared Allen and Jason Culver; nieces Marie Woodard, Dianna Allen, Melissa Nielsen, and Lacy Culver. Her beloved fur baby Snowflake will miss snuggling with Kim every night. Don't mourn for Kim. She is no longer suffering and is dancing once again.
