Kim Marie Parnell, 60, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.
Kim was born on November 11, 1960 in New Orleans to Oliver Keith Parnell and Carol Elizabeth Peterson Parnell and passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Kim spent five years working as a cafeteria worker feeding children in her community. The rest of her life she spent as a homemaker caring for her younger siblings, children, nieces and nephews, as well as the other children in her immediate community. She wanted to make sure no child went hungry and always had a safe place to sleep. She enjoyed cooking and loved to share her food with everyone. She was a remarkable, caring, loving lady with a heart of gold.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Tyler James. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Blaine White, Jessica White, Jaimie White, Jullianne Parker; grandchildren, Robin Bray, Reanna Bray, Thomas James, Jr. and Clarissa Coursey; numerous nieces and nephews; and her significant other, James Parker.
