Kerryl Ann McLemore Herring

Kerryl Ann McLemore Herring, age 70, of Keithville, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on May 5, 2024. She was born on February 18, 1954, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Emmanuel and Margaret McLemore. 

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024, located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive in Shreveport, Louisiana. Graveside services honoring the life of Kerryl will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024, located at Summer Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Coy Fuqua. 

Kerryl was the proud and dedicated entrepreneur of “Kerryl’s Framing Place” from 1980 until 1991. She married the love of her life in 1983, Arthur “Buddy” Herring. Kerryl loved spending time outdoors, had a green thumb, and was a fantastic cook. She will forever be remembered as a Christian woman that was loyal to her family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmanuel and Margaret McLemore. Left behind to cherish Kerryl’s memory include her husband of 41 wonderful years, Arthur “Buddy” Herring; stepchildren, Mark Herring and Brandy Hill; sister, Sherryl McLemore; and nephew, Brian Christy.
