Kenneth "Ken" Riley McCallister

A private graveside for Kenneth “Ken” Riley McCallister, 86, will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City, Louisiana officiated by Dr. Carl Rhoads.

Ken was born on July 6, 1936 to Essie “Polly” and Forrest McCallister in Atlanta, Texas and passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023 in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Ken graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a BS in Chemistry. He married Gail Granger after only six weeks of courtship. He worked at U.O.P. for 35 years as a chemist. He was a loving, caring family man who was devoted to his loving family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gail McCallister and sister, Kathy McCallister. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tonia Lewis and husband, Charles; son, Kelvin McCallister; two grandchildren, Tyler Lewis and girlfriend, Flora LeLetty and Abby Lewis; brother, Joe Michael McCallister and wife, Marcia Landen; brother-in-law, Donald Granger and wife, Emily and numerous nieces and nephews.
