Funeral services celebrating the life of Kenneth Newton Fedd, age 80 will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA with James Festervand officiating. Burial to follow at Gateway Cemetery, Vivian, LA. The family will have a time of visitation on Friday, February 26th from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Fedd was born in Jackson, MS on January 29, 1941 to Ervin William Fedd and Radolph Kelly Fedd. He passed away on February 23, 2021 at the Northwest Louisiana Veteran's Home in Bossier City, LA. Mr. Fedd worked as a machinist for AT&T Telephone Co. for many years. He was a member of the Northwood Baptist Church and member of the Telephone Pioneer's. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during Vietnam in Germany. Mr. Fedd loved to fish, participate in boat and car races, going on cruises with his wife and family and going horseback riding. He had a big heart that loved to help his neighbors and his family. He was a big cut-up with his family and friends. Mr. Fedd is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ervin Kelly Fedd. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Shirley Monk Fedd of Shreveport, LA; his daughter, Sharon Marie Fedd Festervand and husband, Randy of Shreveport, LA; his adopted children, Samantha Ann Monk and Michael Williams of Gray, TX and Thomas Lee Monk and wife, Rebecca of Shreveport, LA. Mr. Fedd is also survived by his sisters, Bessie Stuckey and husband, William of Shreveport, LA and Mary Lynn Stuckey and husband, Charlie Harold of Shreveport, LA; brother, Larry Fedd and wife, Sue of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren, Emily Marie Festervand of Shreveport, LA, Trey Monk and Halie Monk both of Middletown, IA, Josie Monroe Williams of Gray, TX and numerous niece and nephews. Honoring Mr. Fedd as pallbearers will be Clyde Stevens, Jr., Wayne Hill, Patrick Mitchell, Ronnie Stuckey, Gary Medlin, Chuck Stuckey, Doug Vick, Jr. and Thomas Kendrick.
