A Memorial Service for Kenneth R. Cockerham, 74, will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 at the American Rose Center, 8877 Jefferson-Paige Road, Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Linnie Lindsay. Kenneth was born November 2, 1946 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Lloyd Homer Cockerham and Frances Mable Tauzin and passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was a forensic and pharmaceutical chemist in Louisiana and on the East Coast. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, husband, and friend. He was a Deacon at Highland Baptist Church in New Iberia, Louisiana. Kenneth also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Ann Cockerham Cunningham. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 53 years, Connie Rymas Cockerham; son, Keith Cockerham; daughter, Kerry Cockerham Hoffpauir; son-in-law, Thomas Hoffpauir; brother, Wayne Cockerham; sister-in-law, Sissy Cockerham; grandchildren, Dyan Cockerham, Landry Cockerham, Luke Hoffpauir and Addie Hoffpauir; nephews, Justin Grace, Brian Cockerham; and niece, Angie Cockerham. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Willis-Knighton Pierremont for the excellent care and compassion shown to Kenneth.
