A funeral for Kenneth Joseph Olin Anderson, 40, will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Officiating the service will be Ronald Simmons and Cody Guillot.
Kenneth was born on July 16, 1985, at Physicians Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana, and left this life on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 10:00 p.m. at the Grace Home located at Highland Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Kenneth was a man who found his greatest peace in the beauty of the natural world. He loved animals, felt at home surrounded by nature, and could often be found outdoors enjoying the quiet, steady rhythm of the life around him. Fishing was one of his true passions, and he cherished every moment spent by the water.
He also loved the simple joy of gathering with family. Some of his happiest times were spent playing dice and card games with his mom and all the kids, laughing, teasing, and creating memories that will be held close for years to come.
Kenneth is deeply loved and will be truly missed by all of his family and friends.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pawpaw, Kenneth Simmons, Granny, Mary Simmons, Mimi, Barbara Anderson, and Granny, Nancy Sanders. Left to cherish his memory are his father, Charles Anderson, and wife, Lisa; mother, Patricia Anderson, and spouse, Jim Harrison; his three children, Melanie, Kenneth, and Joseph Anderson; brother, Will Anderson, and wife, Heather; sisters, Mary Ellen Anderson and Kim Guillot and husband, Cody; brother, Daniel Hill and wife, Manda; nephews, Ashtain Anderson, Donnie, Brayden Guillot, James and wife, Taylor, Ayden Klick and wife, Alexis, D.J. Sites, Nicholas, Eason, Colston, and Carter Hill; nieces, Grace Anderson, Nevaeh Jones, and Madison Guillot; great-nephew, Rhett Foy; and great-nieces, Isabelle Flores and Charlie Kate. Kenneth is also survived by many other extended family members and lots of loved ones.
Honoring Kenneth as pallbearers will be Will Anderson, Cody Guillot, Daniel Hill, Little Kenneth Anderson, Joseph Anderson, and Brayden Guillot. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas Hill and Eason Hill.
