Keith James Gaspard

Keith James Gaspard, age 54, of Cottonport, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026, at his home in Cottonport.

Mr. Keith was a dedicated employee at Walmart, where he worked in the warehouse for many years. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time outdoors and making memories with family and friends. He loved to hunt, fish, boat ride, and camp, always finding joy in the simpler pleasures of being outdoors and enjoying life. He will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his love of the outdoors, and the many cherished memories he created with those who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will begin at 6:30pm on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Marksville with Bro. Richard Newman officiating. A visitation will begin at 5:00pm until time of service at 6:30pm on Monday, August 17, 2026, with visitation continuing after the service until 9pm. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the St. Alphonse Catholic Cemetery in Hessmer.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Blake (Elisabeth) Gaspard of Plaucheville; daughter, Gracie Gaspard of Hessmer; sister, Kim Lachney of Deville. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Harmony Gaspard, River Gaspard, and Adaline Gaspard, all of Plaucheville.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jake Tyler Gaspard; and his brother-in-law, Donald Lachney.
