Kayson L. Wright

Shreveport, LA - Kayson Larmar Wright 20 months, passed away on February 7, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Kayson was born to Derrick Wright and Ashley Whitaker on June 4, 2018 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He loved blowing kisses to everyone. His favorite toy was his toy helicopter and dump truck but he loved them all. He was a joy to anyone that has ever met him. Some people only dream of Angels; he was our angel here on earth. He will be greatly missed and forever loved. Kayson was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Cornell Wright, Levi Whitaker, Jr., Marguerite Whitaker; Great Grandparents, Blanchie R. Smith, Henry Moore; Aunts and Uncles, Beverly Buck, Brian Smith and Michael Moore. He is survived by his Parents; Sister, Arianna Whitaker; Brothers, Quintin Whitaker, and Joseph Burton, Jr. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Pastor Delores Williams of Divine Inner-City Faith Ministries will be officiating the service. Graveside services will follow at Marshall Chapel C.M.E. Church Cemetery, 1098 Linwood Ave. Stonewall, LA. Serving as pallbearers will be Lawrence Moore, Elijah Johnson, Xavier Moore, and Gregory Demming. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Quintin Whitaker, Joseph Burton, Jr. and Kevan Smith. The family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone for all the support, prayers and calls.
