Kay F. Ricardo

Kay F. Ricardo age 72, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family November 1, 2019 at Willis-Knighton Pierremont in Shreveport, LA. She was born Kay Francis Millican to Ralph and Peggy Millican, October 4, 1947 in El Dorado, AR. Kay graduated El Dorado High School in 1965. She married George Ricardo on August 27, 1965, and together they raised two sons Robert and Michael. Kay worked as an accountant and insurance claim processor. She enjoyed crafts such as making afghan blankets and macramé' items. She liked to sing and socialize with family and friends and liked to travel. Kay is survived by her husband of 54 years, George Ricardo; sons, Robert Ricardo and Michael (wife, Sherry) Ricardo and one granddaughter Mikel-Ann, many aunts, uncles and cousins all whom loved her dearly. Memorial services will be at 12 noon on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Friends and family may visit from 10 AM until service at the funeral home the day of service. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations can be made in Kay's name to the St. Jude Children Hospital.
