Kathy Anne Spearman Hiller

A funeral service for Kathy Anne Spearman Hiller, 83, will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Officiating the service will be Jim Girouard.

Kathy was born on November 1, 1942, and was the daughter of Frank Oscar Spearman, Sr., and Lucille Darrow Spearman of Shreveport, Louisiana, and passed away on December 23, 2025, at her home in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Kathy was a devoted member of Restoration Fellowship Church in Bossier City, Louisiana, where her faith and her love for people were always evident. She spent more than 25 years working as a CNA, pouring her heart into caring for others with patience and compassion. Caring for people wasn’t just her job; it was who she was. She had a gift for making others feel seen, supported, and comforted, and she touched countless lives along the way.

Above all, Kathy was a loving mother and grandmother, the kind of woman whose warmth filled every room she walked into. She was a wonderful cook, a natural caretaker, and a loyal friend to so many. Whether she was helping someone in need, offering a listening ear, or simply sharing a meal, she gave of herself freely and without hesitation. Kathy will be dearly missed.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Frank Oscar Spearman, Sr.; her mother, Lucille Spearman Darrow; her son, Christopher Scott Hiller; her brother, Frank Junior Spearman; her sister, Shari Gaines; and her brother‑in‑law, Robert Gaines.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Robin Lynn Hiller; her sons, Phillip Hiller and wife, Carolyn Sue, and Patrick Brian Hiller and wife, Jennifer Lynn; and her grandchildren, Shamra Nacole Kirshbaum and husband, David, Jessica Joanne Salas and husband, Erick, Chance Nichelle Hiller, James Keaton Hiller, Emily Frances Barfoot, Anna Rachelle Hiller, and Abigail Renee Hiller. She is also survived by her great‑grandchildren, Kade Scott Wilson, Ethan Rafael Salas, and Karoline Elaine Salas; her sister, Jeanette Breaux; her brother, Dennis Eugene Spearman; and many extended family members and friends.

Honoring Kathy as pallbearers will be Phillip Hiller, Patrick Hiller, Adam McWhiney, Chad Brettillo, Keaton Hiller, and David Kirschbaum. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Kade Wilson.
