Karen T. King

Karen King 77, passed away December 7, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Karen was born in Port Arthur, Texas but lived most of her life in Shreveport. Devoted RN, Mother, and Grandmother. She loved spending time gardening and reading the Bible.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Maudry Theriot. Brothers Ronnie Theriot, and Floyd Theriot Jr. Husband Bobby King. Grandson Colby Smith and Son in law Jason Drury.

Karen is survived by her daughter Dana Powell, Son in law Hunt Powell and daughter Robin Drury. Grandchildren Shane, Cameron, and Elijah Drury. Sister Susan Theriot and Sister-in-law Charlotte Theriot. Graveside services were held at Gardens of Memory Cemetery on Monday December 12th at 2:00 pm. Pallbearers were Jerry Hinson, Wayne Halbert, Dillon Haynes, Casey Powell, Clint Powell, and Shane Drury
