Kallie Elizabeth Williamson (Bethany, La) Born in Shreveport, La November 9, 1987 went to be with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ on December 20, 2025. A beautiful woman who left a lasting impression with everyone she met over her short 38 years in this world.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Officiating will be Reverend Meghan Twyman, assisted by Lay Minister Ellen Trice Nicholson. A graveside service will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd., Shreveport, La 71109.
Kallie graduated from C.E. Byrd High School in 2005. She attended Louisiana Tech and was a member of Phi Mu sorority. Most recently, Kallie was enrolled in the RN Program at Bossier Parish Community College where she maintained a 4.0 GPA for the entire program. She was simultaneously working a full time job and raising her 17 year old son, Hayden, and her 18 month old daughter, Laramie. Kallie was accepted into clinicals and was set to start in January. When people refer to a mom/student as being a rockstar, they are referring to Kallie.
Growing up Kallie loved to cheer and attend all the Youth events at Summer Grove Methodist Church. She especially loved trips to Camp Caney, during this time Kallie fell in love with the Christian Rock Group Destination Known. She even went as far as helping facilitate a local concert for the group while she was in middle school.
Kallie excelled in her professional life, she has worked since 2012 at Planchard Eye and Laser as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant. Kallie had numerous certifications and was loved by every patient and colleague. She was on the path to obtain the same level of success in her nursing career which we have no doubt she would have achieved.
Kallie’s true passion was her children, Hayden and Laramie motivated every decision Kallie made, and nothing brought her more joy than putting a smile on their faces. The type of Mom that stays up all night making Halloween Costumes when the ones she ordered got lost in the mail. She knew that her kids were always right as every mom does and had the ability to convince you to believe the same, all you had to do was ask.
Kallie loved the outdoors, both hunting and fishing, (however the bugs that come with such activities were not exactly at the top of her list). She loved her family get togethers at the Annual Halloween Family Reunion and looking at Christmas lights all over Texas and Louisiana as this was her favorite holiday. She was also an avid reader sometimes consuming a book a week. A passion she hoped to pass along to anyone who would listen.
To know Kallie was to love her, a shy light who rarely had a bad word to say about anyone. Kallie shared this life with her fiancee, Jordan, for nearly 17 years who loved her deeply as she did him. We may have lost Kallie on this earth but we know that heaven has gained an amazing Angel.
Kallie was preceded in death by her brother, Daron Williamson; maternal grandmother, Marguerite Perkins; paternal grandparents, Bob and Opal Williamson; and step-mother, Danell Williamson.
She is survived by her son, Hayden Thomas; daughter, Laramie Rodgers; fiancée, Jordan Rodgers; father, Harold Williamson and wife, Martha; mother, Helen Perkins Williamson; brother, Jason Williamson and wife, Jennifer; nephew, Tyler Williamson; aunt, Sally Terry; sister-in-law, Debbie Williamson; niece, Finn Powell along with numerous family members and friends.
Honoring Kallie as pallbearers will be Hayden Thomas, Jason Williamson, Jordan Rodgers, Tyler Williamson, Eric Thomas, and Billy Mayer.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to the BPCC Foundation/RN Program in Kallie’s honor. Becoming an RN was her life long dream and Kallie was so close to realizing it. Her journey was partially made possible by scholarships that were awarded to her and Kallie would be honored to pay that kindness forward.
The family would also like to give special thanks to Billy and Christi Mayer, Josh and Chelsea Scheen, Tom and Courtney Braswell, Eric and Courtney Thomas, and everyone else who has helped in this difficult time. The support this community has shown for Kallie is overwhelming, and she would truly be taken aback. So from the bottoms of our hearts thank you all very much.
