KEITHVILLE, LA- Graveside services for June Smith Williams, 89, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at First Baptist Church Cemetery of Keithville. Officiating will be Reverend McKee Williams.
June was born on June 26, 1924 in Oil City, LA and passed away on June 12, 2014 at her home. She was a graduate of Oil City High School then an LPN until she retired. She was a Baptist.
Preceding June in death were her husband, Wayne C. Williams; parents, Claude and Effie Smith brothers, Maurice Nickels and Marlan Smith. She is survived by her son Jerry Williams and his wife, Shirley; daughter, Janice Robinson; grandchildren, Ricky Williams and wife, Valerie, Michael Pennywell, Matt Pennywell, Sandi Bowen and Jay Pennywell; a very special friend, Mary Lou Dahlberg.
The family expresses a special thanks to her grandson, Matt and special friend Sandi Bowen, for taking care of her for the last 3 years of her life.
