June Lee Marsh

June Lee Marsh of Bossier City, Louisiana, went to be with the Lord, on January 14, 2023, her oldest son, Doug’s birthday.

June was born on December 27, 1946, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Marion Douglas “Bubba” Green and Jimmie Lee Beasley Green.  June graduated from Bossier High School in 1964.

June enjoyed being with family, especially her grandchildren.  She attended all events she could possibly attend for each and every one of them.

June was preceded in death by her parents, Bubba and Jimmie Green, husband, Curtis Marsh, and two sons, Curtis Edward Marsh, Jr., and Douglas Burel Marsh, all of Bossier City, Louisiana.

June is survived by her son Joel Marsh and wife, Michelle; grandsons, JD Marsh and wife, Krissy, Dylan Marsh and wife, Jessica and Judge Marsh; granddaughters, Angel Martin and Marissa Martin; great-granddaughter, Noelle Marsh; and sisters, Gail Janssen and husband, Larry Hall and Teri Millen and husband, Dodd.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr. Bossier City, LA, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Airline Dr. Church of Christ, 2125 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana, at 11:00 a.m.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Centuries Cemetery, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana, immediately following funeral services. Officiating the services will be Minister Ben Brewster.

Honoring June as pallbearers will be JD Marsh, Dylan Marsh, Judge Marsh, Josh Smith, Michael Morgan and Cameron Villa.  Serving as honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Beasley, Larry Hall and Dodd Millen.
