Julie D. Garcia

Funeral services for Julie D. Garcia, 77, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Young officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery on Texas and Greenwood Rd. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2018 at the funeral home. Julie was born March 22, 1941 to Ernest Alice and DeLeon and went to be with the Lord on October 1, 2018. She loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting. She loved her family and her dogs. She would care for everyone she knew. Julie was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Roosevelt DeLeon, Mark DeLeon, and Joe Deleon; sisters, Nellie Garcia and Andrea Garcia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Honoring Julie as pallbearers will be Joe Diehl, Ryan Laurant, Junior DeLeon, Johnny DeLeon, Joseph James, and Walter Wilbanks. Honorary pallbearer will be Mark A. DeLeon. The family would like to give a special thanks to Healthway and WK Cancer Center.
