Juanita Snead Womack

A graveside service for Juanita Snead Womack will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Holley Springs Cemetery in Martin, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jeff Phillips.

Juanita Snead Womack, age 92, of Coushatta, Louisiana, was born on April 28, 1934, and entered her eternal reward on September 20, 2026.

Juanita devoted many hours to community service through the Pilot Club, Red Hat Society, and TOPS. She was an expert typist and transcriber, serving as a court reporter for nearly 30 years for Red River Parish. A longtime member of Ringgold United Pentecostal Church, Juanita’s faith guided her life and work. She will be remembered for her dedication, kindness, and steadfast spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Marie Snead; her beloved husband, Emmett Vaughn Womack; her cherished grandson, Emmett Vaughn Womack III (“Trey”); her best friend and daughter, Alexa Dozar; and all of her brothers and sisters.

Juanita is survived by her sons, Emmett V. Womack Jr. and wife, Mickey, Allen Womack, and Randall Womack and wife, Dee; her son‑in‑law, Mike Dozar; granddaughter, Kerri Weaver and husband, Buddy; great‑grandchildren, Madden and Sam Weaver, Payton Thornton and wife, Logan, Jaden, and Alanna Womack; great‑great‑grandchildren, Emmett and Harper Thornton; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved her dearly.

Her life was a testimony of faith and love. Though her earthly journey has ended, her spirit rejoices in the presence of her Savior. “Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.”

Honoring Juanita as pallbearers will be Buddy Weaver, Sam Weaver, Timmy Martin, Mike Dozar, David Price, and Shawn Beard.

The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Belle Grande Nursing Home in Alexandria, Louisiana, for the excellent care, compassion, and dedicated service provided.

Services and care were provided to the family by Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many, Louisiana.
