Juanita Speight Beckham

Funeral services for Juanita Speight Beckham, 68, will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd. in Shreveport. A visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Reverend Randy Martin.

Juanita was born on March 22, 1954 to William Preston Speight and Martha Jo Leach Speight in Zwolle, Louisiana and passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 in Shreveport.

Juanita was a resident of Greenwood, Louisiana and was the ER Materials Manager for Willis-Knighton for 30+ years with a total of 44 years in the medical industry. She was a loving mother and wife who devoted her life to the care of her family.

Juanita is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Eugene Beckham; son, Matthew Allen Beckham; brother, Joseph Preston Speight; sister, Jennifer Diane Varnell; and best friend, Janie Lopez Robinson. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Richard Thomas Beckham; sisters, Martha E. Storar, Lavern Ashlock, Lisa Martin (Randy), Angela  Musgrave (Scott); and brother, Wayne Speight (Lucretia); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Juanita as pallbearers will be Stephen Speight, Thomas Speight, Daniel Varnell, Jason Galyean, Jeremy Speight, Gabriel Waters, Cody Reed and Robert Beckham. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Tim Green and Joshua Ashlock.
