Joycelyn L. Nugent

Joycelyn L. Nugent, 81, of Many, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on November 17, 2022 in Many, Louisiana. Joycelyn was born on April 5, 1941 in Ville Platte, Louisiana to Preston Joseph Leger and Claudia Stegall Leger.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022 located at Pendleton Assembly of God Church in Many, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bro. Daniel Davis. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.

Joycelyn volunteered for the Central Sabine Fire Department for over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Claudia Leger; and sister-in-law, Lorritta Leger. Joycelyn is survived by her husband of 59 ½ years, Joe Nugent of Many, LA; son, Rett Nugent of Many, LA; brother, Glenn Leger of Palmetto, LA; granddaughter, Marissa Hippler and husband Josh; great-grandchildren, Kobin Nugent and Kyndal Rose Hippler.

Honoring Joycelyn as pallbearers will be Fred Korb, Joe Henry, Doug Ensinger, Colin Cormier, Wendall Hippler, and Josh Hippler. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Kim Shell, Scott Miller, and Kobin Nugent.
