Joyce Elaine Vardeman

Funeral Services for Joyce Elaine Vardeman will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Airline Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Terry Young, assisted by Rev. Harrell Shelton. Interment will follow at the Northwest LA Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, LA at a later date. Visitation will 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Joyce was born January 22, 1934 in Morehouse Parish, LA and passed away in Bossier City on March 24, 2019. She retired from the LA Department of Social Service as a Social Worker and also was a retired teacher for the State of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lindon and Mary Bryant. Joyce is survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul Vardeman of Bossier City, LA; sons, John M. Vardeman and wife, Terri of Tyler, TX, Timothy P. Vardeman of Bossier City, LA; brother, Jackie Bryant and wife, Gloria of Natchitoches, LA and five grandchildren, Mark, David, Kristina, Bowen and Lindon.
