Joyce Raylene Hays

A graveside service for Joyce Raylene Hays, 79, will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana at 10:00 a.m. Joyce was born December 17, 1942 in Coushatta, Louisiana to Doyle Carlisle and Raylene McGinty and passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 in Shreveport. Joyce was a resident of Keithville, Louisiana. She was married to her best friend and love of her life, Robert Hays, for 57 years. She was an incredible mother, mimi, cousin and friend. Joyce was an outgoing, charismatic, spiritual woman. She loved and was loved by all who had the opportunity to know her. Joyce's passions include being involved in the church, shopping, crafting, dancing, cooking and anything to do with her "babies," David and Brittney. She was always so proud of her babies and would tell anyone who would listen, story after story about them. Anyone who knew her knew she loved to joke and laugh and that sense of humor and loving nature helped her impact so many lives. Joyce was a truly amazing woman. She was loved by so many and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Robert Lance Hays. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Robert O. Hays; and son, Rusty Hays.
