Joyce Cordell Martin

Graveside services for Joyce Cordell Martin will be held Monday, April 20, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Joyce was born November 18, 1948, in Holly Ridge, Louisiana and left this earthly home for her heavenly home on April 17, 2026, in Minden, Louisiana.

Joyce graduated from Holly Ridge High School and Louisiana Tech in Ruston, Louisiana. She was an educator for the Webster Parish School system for over 40 years teaching at Phillips, Lowe, and Webster Junior High School in Minden.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jerry Martin, daughter, Vicki Martin, son, Dr. Jeff Martin and wife Mindi and their children, Brooke, Logan, and Payton, and Jeanette Wilson.
