Joyce J. Holcomb

Funeral services celebrating the life of Joyce J. Holcomb will be held Monday, November 20, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Sibley Missionary Baptist Church in Sibley, Louisiana with Bro. Jeff Flenniken officiating. Interment will follow at Point Chapel Cemetery in Doyline, Louisiana under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends Sunday November 19, 2023, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden.

Joyce was born February 23, 1946, in Dangerfield, Texas and entered into rest November 16, 2023, in Minden, Louisiana.

 Joyce loved fishing, hunting, flowers, and gardening. She had a passion for quilting and shared her treasures with her family. Joyce loved her family and especially loved getting together for the holidays. Joyce accepted Christ as her Savior in the early 1970’s and has been a faithful servant to the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Vanda Jones, sister, Betty Givens, and brothers, Arnold, David, Leonard, William, and Billy Jones.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Charles D. Holcomb of Doyline, sons, Steven Estes (Lisa) of Grand Cane, Christopher Estes (Jennifer) of Boyce, Shawn Estes (Karen) of Doyline, and Dan Holcomb (Missy) of Oklahoma; daughters, Penny Long (Glenn) of Doyline, Haley Bazer (Matt) of Doyline, and Tammy Reid (Ritchie) of Sibley, brother, Junior Jones, 8 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
