Joyce "Neale" Haynes

Joyce Oneal "Neale" Haynes, 77, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Spur, Bossier City, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until services time at the cemetery. Dr. Scott Teutsch will be officiating. Neale was born December 9, 1943 in Quanah, Texas to J.D. and Helen Eaton Haynes. He went to Quanah High School where he met the love of his life, Meredith. They married after graduation and had three children. Later they moved from Texas to Shreveport, Louisiana where Neale owned and operated Southern Gulf Trucking Company. He loved everything about nature, including feeding the wild birds, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed golf and was a licensed private pilot. Neale's favorite way to spend his time was with his family. Neale is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 55 years, Meredith Haynes; daughters, Kim Franks and husband, David and Tamara Greis and husband, Todd; son, Tyson Haynes; grandchildren, Laiken Goodman and husband, Anderson, Ethan Franks, Brandon Franks, Caige Greis, Cooper Greis, Corbin Greis, Arwen Haynes, Piper Haynes; and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving Neale as honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons, Anderson, Ethan, Brandon, Caige, Cooper, and Corbin.
