Joyce Allen Davis

Minden, LA Joyce Allen Grady Davis was born in Rotan, Texas to Roy and BaDottie Grady on July 4, 1933 and grew up in Dallas, Texas where she married on December 21, 1951. The family settled in Minden in 1956 where they became active members of First Baptist Church and raised their four children. She has gone to be with our Lord on November 17, 2018. Services celebrating her life will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10:30 am at First Baptist Church West Chapel in Minden, LA with Rev. Leland Crawford officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, LA under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 pm Monday, November 19, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years James T. Davis. She is survived by her daughters, Marsha Braswell (Hal) of Minden, LA, Patricia "Trisha" Berberian (Garo) of Cypress, TX, Richard Davis (Gwen) of Angleton, TX, Robert Davis (Ellen) of Ruston, LA; sisters Ime Davis of Santa Fe, NM, Clara McKinney of Grapevine, TX and Dorothy Bailey of Dallas, TX; brothers Billy Grady of Weatherford, TX, BL Grady of Keene, TX and Roy Dale Grady of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren Chris Bond, Mandy Bond, Mehron Berberian (Delaney), Roupen Berberian, Anaheed "Anee" Blackman (Johnny), Michael Davis (Jana), Amanda Robertson (Matt); great-grandchildren Tristan, Madison, and Austin Bond, Kaysen Eason, Maylin, Hartlie and Isla Davis, and Lydia Robertson.
