Josie P. Kilgore

Funeral services celebrating the life of Josie P. Kilgore will be held Friday, February 25, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Anchor of Hope Church in Springhill, Louisiana with Bro. Steve River officiating. Interment will follow at Cotton Valley Cemetery in Cotton Valley, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends Friday from 12noon until 1:00 p.m. for fellowship and refreshments at the church prior to the service at 2:00 p.m. Josie was born October 16, 1933, in Marshall, Alabama and entered into rest February 21, 2022, in Minden, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leman Oran Kilgore; parents, Joseph Daniel and Charlene Dudley McLean; daughters, Wanda Kilgore and Judy Johnson; and son Bobby Glen Kilgore. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jordan; brother, Kenneth McLean; grandchildren four; great-grandchildren, ten; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Heath Glasscock, Darrell Jordan, David Jordan, Steve Rivers.
