Joseph Wesley Woodall, Jr., 82, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in Bossier City, Louisiana. He was born on January 16, 1944, to the late Joseph W. Woodall and Roxie A. Bearden Woodall in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Joseph was one of the most genuine and loving men you could ever meet- patient, kind, and endlessly forgiving. He helped anyone who needed him and lived with a heart full of generosity. To his children, he was a true leader, teaching them morals, values, and respect through gentle but firm guidance they remain grateful for to this day.
Joseph had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and took pride in caring for his yard, often mowing for others as an act of quiet generosity. His willingness to help extended far beyond his home. He also faithfully served his country in the United States Army.
Joseph’s life was marked by love, service, and humility. Though he is no longer with us, the values he instilled and the kindness he showed will live on in the lives he touched.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Joseph Wesley Woodall III (Trey); daughter, Tanya Denise Woodall; granddaughter, Shelby Marie Millican; grandson, Justin Ray Woodall; and great-granddaughter, Kathleen Marie Millican.
