Funeral services honoring Mr. Joseph Charles Lopez will be 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Aimwell Baptist Church in Zwolle, La with Reverend Ronnie Sandifer and Reverend Steve Neesley officiating. Visitation will be in the Rose-Neath Many Chapel from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Saturday, June 23, 2018. Joseph was born on March 1, 1935 to Clara Remedies and was nurtured and cared for by Phillip and Maggie Rivers. He passed on June 20, 2018 in Many, LA. Joseph was a deacon of the church and worked faithfully as a Sunday School Teacher for many years. He was a skilled floor layer for 30 years in Shreveport, LA & owner - operator of his own timber hauling company, Joseph Lopez Logging.   Joseph is survived by his wife Dora Falcon Lopez; Sons Milton Lopez & wife Patty of Midlothian, Tx, Gary Lopez & wife Kandi, Randy Lopez & wife Luci both of Shreveport, La; Daughters Diane Bernard & husband Jeff of Shreveport, LA & Lisa Burkheart & husband James of Rogers, AR; Brothers: Tank Rivers & wife Gayla, Wilbert Rivers (Head), Frankie Rivers (Pop) all of Zwolle, LA.; 11 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren   He is preceded in death by his mother Clara Remedies, his parents Phillip and Maggie Rivers; Son Clifford Lopez; Daughter Janie Robinson; Brother, Phillip Paul Rivers & Sister Mary Remedies.   Pallbearers honoring Mr. Joseph Charles Lopez are Marcus Durr, Matt Durr, Phillip Lopez, Chris Lopez, Tim Falcon, Ryan Horton & Ernie Falcon.
