Joseph Wayne Ardoin

A funeral service honoring the life of Joseph Wayne Ardoin, age 55, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St, Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. prior to the service. Officiating will be Pastor John Henson of Church for the Highlands. Wayne Ardoin was born September 19, 1964 to Ovide and Dorothy Ardoin in Opelousas, Louisiana and passed away peacefully August 6, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Wayne will always be remembered for his avid love of fishing, his immaculate lawn work, and his joy of recycling cans. He never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Patrick Lee Ardoin of Pineville, LA; sisters, Elaine Marie Ardoin of Kingsport, TN and Susan Ann Truitt and husband, Wilson, of Deridder, LA; nephew, Wilson J. Truitt; niece, Rachel R. Truitt; uncle and aunt, Francis and Toni Lejeune of Plaquemine, LA and his family at Volunteers of America North Louisiana.
