Jorden Lynn Lorenzo

A graveside service will be held for Jorden “JoJo” Lynn Lorenzo, age 33, at Arlington Cemetery, 484 Hwy 146, Homer, LA, on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Jeff Derrick, officiating.

Jorden was born July 24, 1993, in Homer, LA, to Aaron M. Barton and Merita Simmons Walker. She entered into rest on September 29, 2026, in Shreveport, LA, shortly after being diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic colon cancer. Jorden left behind a lifetime of love, laughter, memories, and people whose lives will forever be changed by knowing her. Jorden was a graduate of Haynesville High Class of 2011. She became a mother in 2012 and again in 2014, and being a mom was one of the greatest joys of her life. Her son, Grayson, was truly the light of her life. She treasured her family deeply and cherished every moment she shared with the people she loved. Anyone who knew Jorden knew she had a personality all her own. She was funny, loving, outgoing, and as her family would lovingly admit, stubborn at times. She had a way of making people laugh and bringing her own special energy into every room she entered. She loved music, her family, her job, and making memories with the people closest to her. From a young age, Jorden had a love for softball. She played throughout high school. Softball was a special part of her life and created memories that her loved ones will always treasure.

Jorden was determined and dedicated when it came to building a career she could be proud of. She earned her Medical Assistant certificate and later went on to earn her Associate Degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Her caring heart naturally led her to a career where she could help others.

To her nephew and her little sister, Jorden was the best “JoJo.” She was more than an aunt and big sister—she was someone they could laugh with, count on, and love unconditionally. The memories they shared with her will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

Jorden’s life was far too short, but the love she gave was immeasurable. She leaves behind memories that will be cherished, stories that will continue to be told, and a love that will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever. Though she is no longer here to make us laugh, give us her opinion, cheer us on, or simply be Jorden, her presence will continue to live on through her child, her family, and everyone blessed to have known and loved her.

Forever loved. Forever missed.

Forever our JoJo.
