Jon Delano Snyder

JON DELANO SNYDER   SHREVEPORT, LA - Memorial visitation honoring Mr. Jon D. Snyder will be held Thursday July 7, 2016 at Rose- Neath Southside from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. Jon was born to Homer and Tressie Snyder in Frankfort, Indiana on October 17, 1934. He graduated from Circleville High School in 1953. He transferred to Shreveport in 1966 from Indianapolis Western Electric which is now Lucent Technology and retired in 1989. He was a member of Elks Lodge for several years and loved to play golf. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957-1959. Preceding Jon in death are his parents, sisters, Deloris Wyrick and Gloria Coapstick; brothers, Jim Snyder, Ronnie Snyder, and Mike Snyder. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marge Snyder; brother in law, Earl Stone; Norman Stone (Wilma); Sister in law, Ceal Stone and Betty Lively; several nieces, nephews and many family friends. In lieu of flowers please make donations to North Point United Methodist Church or charity of your choice.
