Jon D. Leazer

Benton, LA - A Memorial Mass for Jon D. Leazer will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2018 at St. Jude Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Pike Thomas. Visitation will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Jon D. Leazer was born April 29, 1955 in Shreveport to Nan and Ronald Leazer, Sr. He passed away September 26, 2018 in Dallas. Jon was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He volunteered at Christ the King Catholic Church Food Pantry. He was preceded in death by his father. Jon is survived by his wife of 42 years, Andrea Leazer of Benton; mother, Mary Nan Leazer of Lewisville, TX; daughters, Maria Hattaway and husband, Justin of West Monroe, Amanda Leazer of Bossier City; sisters, Ellen Baker and husband Gene of Longview, TX, Mary Leazer and Sherry Leazer, both of Lewisville, TX; brother, Ron Leazer, Jr. and wife, Linda of Bossier City; grandchildren, Emma Elizabeth and Colin Reed Hattaway of West Monroe and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the charity of donor's choice.
