Jolinda Carol Mayo

Jolinda Carol Mayo, 73, was born on October 21, 1949, in New Port, Virginia, to John G. Gillespie and Betty Jo Ward Gillespie. She passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Jolinda worked in the Pilot Car business with her husband, Larry Mayo, Sr. They were married for 44 wonderful years together. They were each other’s best friends. They had two children together. Jolinda was an amazing and loving wife, and mother, and she will be greatly missed.

Jolinda is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Larry Mayo, Sr.; son, Larry Mayo, II. and wife, Shelby; daughter, Kelly Mayo; 3 grandchildren, Chloe Marie Mayo, Camaron Dale Mayo, and Kahleb Leez Brumlow.
