Johnny Lynn Nunley

Funeral service for Johnny Lynn Nunley will be held at Rose-Neath Logansport Chapel in Logansport, Louisiana on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Orville Rogers officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation at Rose-Neath Logansport Chapel on Monday, August 12, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at O.E. Price Cemetery in Logansport, Louisiana.   Johnny was born on July 21, 1937 in Logansport, Louisiana to Johnny Lee Nunley and Edith Lynn Champion-Nunley. He entered into rest on August 9, 2019 in Logansport, Louisiana.   Sonny was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Edith Nunley and his brother, Kenneth Wayne Nunley.   Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years Myrtle Jacobs-Nunley of Eunice, Louisiana; daughters, Debbie Buller and husband Timmy of Kinder, Louisiana, Belinda Zent and husband Danny of Wimberley, Texas and Carla Dillon of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; sister, Sandra Strong of Monroeville, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Colby Rambin and wife Kristi, Matthew Rambin, Cory Zent, Logan Zent, Michael Adams, Jessie Adams and wife Kayla, Natalie Lusk and husband Billy; nine great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Yvonne McPhearson and husband Henry.   Pallbearers for Sonny will be Colby Rambin, Trae Rambin, Cory Zent, Logan Zent, Michael Adams, and Jessie Adams.   Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Lusk, Ricky McPhearson, Lane Wilkins, Grant Jones, Buck Caralise, Jerry Burkett, David Graves, Mike Harvey, Judge Carbray, Bobby White, Mervin Favoy, and Timmy Buller.
