Johnny “Papaw” Myers, a devoted family man, decorated veteran, and faithful servant of God, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 3, 2026. A living embodiment of 2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” – Papaw remained steadfastly faithful to Christ in all circumstances, standing firm in his faith through times of ease and adversity alike.

Above all else, family was his top priority, and he cherished every moment spent nurturing, guiding, and loving his family, both young and old. Papaw’s enduring legacy of faith, service, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
