Johnny Lamar Lee

Graveside funeral services were held for Johnny Lamar Lee, 86, at the Arlington Cemetery in Homer, Louisiana on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 11 AM with Rev. Terry Willis, officiating. Mr. Lee was born September 17, 1927 in Elm Grove, LA to William Richard Lee and Edna Maude Hollis Lee. He passed away on Saturday, May 3rd in Bryan, TX following a short illness. Mr. Lee was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and of the Methodist faith. Mr. Lee was a Petroleum Landman whose career affiliated him with Gulf Oil, Chevron and Transco Oil Companies. He was preceded in death by his parents; as well as his wife of 50 years, Bonnie Odom Lee. Survivors include 2 sons, Greg Lee and wife, Gaylene of Orange, TX and Geoffrey Lee of College Station, TX; 1 brother, William Lucius Lee of Minden, LA; 6 grandchildren, Richard Lee, Eric Lee and wife, Shannon, Rebekah Nelson and husband, Thomas, Ryan Lee, Austin Lee and Sean Lee; and 2 great-grandchildren, Camryn Nelson and Addison Lee.
