Burial will follow at Cassel Cemetery in Converse, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 9:30 till 11:00 AM. Johnnie was born on October 13, 1929 in Converse, LA to Robert and Gladys Graham McDonald and passed away on December 7, 2016 in Shreveport, LA. Preceding Johnnie in death were his Parents Robert and Gladys McDonald and brother Robert McDonald. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Lillian McDonald of Converse, LA; Son, Rodney G. McDonald and wife Elna of Mobile, AL; daughter Carol M. Pitre and husband Chris of Opelousas, LA; brother, Don McDonald and wife Doris of Converse, LA; grandchildren, Seth Soileau of Opelousas, LA, Keith McDonald of Long Mount, CO, Terri Lynn McDonald of Mobile, AL; one nephew and five nieces.
