Memorial services celebrating the life of Johnnia Byrd Newman will be held Monday, October 10, 2022, at 10:0 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at 9:00 a.m. Monday prior to the service.
Johnnia was born April 9, 1965, in Little Rock, Arkansas and entered into rest October 4, 2022, in Minden, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Johnston Byrd.
She is survived by her husband, Monte Newman; father, John Byrd and wife Laura; mother-in-law, Virginia Rose Newman; son, James Colby Newman; and daughter, Jessica Lee Murdock and husband Christopher.
