Johnie Lewis “Hank” Cheatham was born December 18, 1948, in Springhill.  LA, to Bill and Johnie Mae Culland Cheatham. He entered into rest on May 17, 2024, in Haynesville, LA. Hank as a young boy worked in the woods with his grandpa, Tommy Culland and uncle, Wayne Culland helping out. Later, he was employed by JC Penny in Hot Springs, AR, as a custodian. Hank was generous, kind and free hearted person that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved all his nieces and nephews, never forgetting their birthdays and special occasions. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Wayne Cheatham; and 2 sisters, Loretta Jane Cheatham and Tammie Mae Cheatham.

He is survived by his sister, Judy Litton; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Hank’s family would like to express their gratitude to Claiborne Rehab, Premier Hospice and their staffs for the care and compassion shown him during his final days.

A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Worship Center, 148 Academy Dr., Springhill, LA, on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.  to Celebrate Hank and his life. with Pastor Jeff Spring officiating.
