John Price McCall, Jr.

Haughton, LA - A graveside service for John Price McCall, Jr. will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Rocky Mount Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Officiating will be his grandson, Rev. Daniel Nelson. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral home in Bossier City. Junior was born June 4, 1932 in Rocky Mount, LA and passed away August 22, 2018 in Shreveport. Junior was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a retired bindery foreman and route salesman in the printing industry. He also worked 16 years for Distribution International after his retirement. He was preceded in death by his father, John Price McCall, Sr., mother, Eunice Edmonds Kea and sister, Patricia Bishop. Junior is survived by his son, John Price McCall, III and wife, Karen Spears McCall of Shreveport; daughter, Susan McCall Freeman and husband, Larry of Shreveport, Melanie McCall Dotting of Shreveport; his companion of 32 years, Eva Carter; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and numerous cousins. Honoring Junior as pallbearers will be, Buddy Freeman, Mike Pilgreen, Julian Whittington, Bill Alley, Michael Bishop, Randy Meadows, Brandon Pouncy and Robert Bishop. Honorary pallbearers Glenn Carter and Christopher Clark. The family would like to thank Medistar Home Health for their care of our loved one.
