Funeral services for John-Mark Malone, 51, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2018 at Southern Hills Church of Christ with Minister Joe Huffman officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Plain Dealing, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside.
John-Mark "Tiny" was born March 9, 1967 in Lubbock, TX and went to be with the Lord on November 24, 2018 in Baton Rouge, LA. He believed God\'s promises of grace and eternal salvation.
He had a long career in the automotive industry where he specialized in marketing and was an SEO expert. He was a friend, a mentor, and a brother to many.
He knew how to love big. His ability to develop and nurture relationships was felt by most people he met. He loved his dogs, leading singing in church, Jeeps, fishing, playing music, and SEO, but most of all his God, children, and family.
John-Mark "Tiny" was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roy and Maggie Holland, and his paternal grandparents, Joe and Glendelle Malone. Also preceding in death is his nephew, Peter Anthony. He is survived by his dearly loved son, John Mark Malone, Jr. and wife Colleen, of Pensacola, FL, and cherished daughter, Julianna, of Farmerville, LA. Also surviving are his revered parents, Minister David and Ann Malone of Ft. Worth, TX, and his sisters, Lisa Malone of Fort Worth, TX, and Gigi Anthony and husband Guy of Burlingame, CA and their children. Also left behind is his treasured best friend and partner, Rhonda Weeks of Baton Rouge, LA; her daughters, Anna and Lauren; and her son, David, whom he adored as if he was his own. Also surviving is his precious granddaughter, Riley and his dear stepson, Daniel Miller, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Honoring John-Mark "Tiny" as pallbearers will be Jaf Fielder, Jon Fielder, Remy Rains, Scott Rains, Summa Stelly, and Wade Strother. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mark Gibson and Jeff Wines.
Contributions may be made as a memorial gift to The Dunham School in Baton Rouge or to a children's charity of donor's choice.
