John Bourdon

Grand Bayou, LA - Memorial services honoring the life of John Bourdon, 68, will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, June 8, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield with Pastor Glenn Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, June 8, 2015 from 1:00 until time of service.

John was born in Coushatta to Henry and Massie Lee Bourdon and passed away in Shreveport.

John was a cowboy by trade and spent time working at the Red River Live Stock.

John was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Massie Lee Bourdon; brothers Jack Mangham and Thurman Paul Mangham.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Virginia Bourdon; daughters Mathilda Kelly and husband Scott, Dawn Burch and husband Stephen, and Johnette Griffith and husband Van; grandchildren Patrick, Trey, Dakota, Luke, Austin, Jayda, Carissa, Samaira, Jonathon, Tristan, Colby, Jade, Genesis, and Isaac; brothers Jimmy Mangham, McArthur Mangham, Billy Dye, Richard West, John Massey; sisters Linda Matz, Marilyn Inzer, Becky Clark, and Lola May Kneitt.

The family would like to express a special thanks to John's brother Mac for his special love and care, and to Dr. Scott Boniol at the Chirstus Schupmert Cancer Treatment Center.
