Johanna A. Albert

Johanna Albert passed away late at night on Monday, May 22, 2023. Johanna was born on February 21, 1942, in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. She was a devoted wife, mother, and sister. Johanna was an amazing artist and craftsperson. She loved to spend her spare time painting, sewing, and generally creating beauty for friends and family to enjoy. Johanna was heavily involved in her church. She was always helping organize functions and fundraisers, to the point that she was awarded the medal of honor by her bishop (Bishop Friend) She proudly became a U.S. citizen in 1960 and served her country as a military wife until her husband's retirement at Barksdale AFB in 1981. She is survived by her husband, son, and two sisters.
