A graveside service celebrating the life of Joe R. Whited, SMSGT, USAF (Retired), 81, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Road, Keithville, Louisiana.
Joe was born on October 16, 1940, in Ash Flat, Arkansas, to Sherman Whited and Thelma Lindsey Whited, and passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Joe proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for over 29 years and is now serving his Lord and savior in heaven. During his service to the United States of America, he gallantly fought in the Vietnam war. He was devoted to his family and God. Joe was a beloved husband and cherished father and will be greatly missed by all.
