Joe Ann Neilson

Joe Ann Cuniff Neilson, of Minden, LA, age 75, born August 9, 1945, passed away in Shreveport, LA on October 18, 2020. She was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Joe Ann was a long- time legal Secretary and Paralegal. She was very well thought of in the legal community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard G. Neilson, her parents, Verna Perrere Wale and Joe Bailey Cuniff, and brother-in-law, Raymond J. "Cold Duck" Rush, Sr. She is survived by her sisters, Sandra Cuniff Rush, Minden, LA and Pamela (Ronald) Badeaux, Mobile, AL and brother Bobby (Debbie) Smith, Minden.LA. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, LA. Under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
