Joe D. Bauldree
HOMER, LA: Graveside services will be held for Mr. Joseph \"Joe\" David Bauldree, age 85, at Arlington Cemetery in Homer, LA, on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev Chuck Johnston, officiating.
Joe was born May 15, 1936, in El Dorado, AR, to Nina Murphy and Joseph Bauldree. Joe entered into rest on Thursday, October 14, 2021, in Homer, LA, with his wife at his bedside. Joe was one of thirteen children in a home filled with constant chatter and activity. Joe was an avid gardener and loved being outdoors. He loved to get out of the house and could be seen cruising around town in his little orange volkswagen beetle on almost any given day.
Joe was a skilled mechanic; he held numerous special certifications and was highly sought after for his extensive knowledge and level of expertise of the mechanical field. He loved his work so much that it was rare to see him without a pair of dark blue dickies work-pants on. He was a hardworking man and took pride in everything he did. Joe has worked at various places over the years, but finally entered his retirement in 2019 with Pafford EMS.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ralph Edward Bauldree, two brothers, Volley Bauldree and Travis Bauldree; six sisters, Esther Dagg, Retha Pickering, Velma Coldwell, Dorothy Jerry, Bythe Norris, and Barbara Boyd.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ina Moore Bauldree; four daughters, Deborah Locke of Homer, Dedra Gorman and Ronnie of Homer, Janet Wolfe and husband Dennis of Homer, and Judy Copeland and husband Tracy of Ruston; a sister, Virginia DeLoach of Dubberly, LA; three brothers, Milton Bauldree of Homer, Donald Bauldree of Corpus Christi, TX; and Phillip Bauldree and wife Angela of York, SC; granddaughter Tina Beckel and husband Robert, whom Joe and Ina lovingly raised as their own; twenty-one wonderful grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Justin Gorman, Elijah Gorman, Joseph David Beckel, Jacob Kevin Beckel, Dennis \"DJ\" Wolfe, Jr.,Robert Beckel, and Ricky Bearden.
We will miss you so much \"papaw\".
