Jody G. O'Bier was born August 5, 1965, to the union of Don and Ninaette O'Bier in Monroe, LA and departed this life in Emerson, AR on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. He dedicated his life to his family. Jody loved his parents more than life itself. He was very intelligent and could do anything his mind thought up. Jody was a special man and had so many people who loved him. He was wonderful at his job and put his heart and soul into every project he worked on. Jody loved laughing and dancing and helping anyone who needed his help.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved parents, Don and Ninaette O'Bier; his daughter, Cassie Balsamo, his two sons; His most cherished love: Hazel (Tiny) Balsamo; brothers, Don O'bier Jr; Jeff O'Bier (Carla); Leonard O'Bier (Brad); Patrick O'Bier; sister, MaryJo Hoffman (Brian); nieces, Madison Hoffman (his goddaughter), Caitlin Miller, Elizabeth Evans, Ninaette Black, Brooke Black, Jessie Phillips, Scarlett O'bier, and Leona O'bier; nephews, Logan Hoffman, A.J. We the family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Willis Knighton Pierrepont that made him comfortable and the hospice workers who helped the family through this difficult time. May the Lord bless us all with just a fraction of the love and joy Jody taught us to live with.
