Joanna Faye Harville

Funeral services honoring the life of Joanna Faye Aytes Harville, 70, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2019, at the Rose-Neath Logansport Chapel in Logansport, LA with Rev. Linnie Lindsay officiating. Burial will follow at Hunter Magnolia Cemetery in Mansfield, LA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 23, 2019, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.   Joanna was born September 9, 1948 in Lancing, Tennessee to Mildred Davis Aytes and entered into rest on May 22, 2019. Sister Joan loved her lord and served him well as first lady at Logan Full Gospel Church in Carthage, Texas. Her service of love, caring gift of help, and her compassion made her shine to everyone that came in her presence. Sister Joan was a wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She married her soulmate Larry Harville on November 20, 1970.   Joanna was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Davis Aytes; brothers, Bill Davis, Jack Aytes, Ray Aytes, and Roy Aytes; and her sister, Judy Aytes LeMay.   Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry Harville; son, Greg Harville and wife, Michelle Harville of Mansfield, LA; daughter, Jackie Barnette and husband, Wayne Barnette of Mansfield, LA.; sisters, Phillis Womack and husband, Mike Womack of Grand Cane, LA.; Wanda Crank of Lewisville, Arkansas; Lou Ainsworth and husband, Paul Ainsworth of Shreveport, LA. brother; Wallace Potter and wife, Ann Potter of Jackson, Tennessee. grandkids, Rebekah Bruner, Lukas Harville, Noah Harville, Jacob Harville, and Julie Harville; great-grandchild, Hunter Bruner.   Honoring Joanna as pallbearers will be Rev. Paul Warren, Buddy Love, Chris Williams, Mike Williams, Jackie Stevens, and Dusty Warren.
