Joan (Jo Ann) Haynes

Joan (Jo Ann) B. Lee Haynes, 89, passed from this life early Saturday morning, July 28, 2018 after a long battle with heart disease. She was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Mittie Brantley; her first husband, Thomas Lee, Jr.; 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Durwood, Randy and Franky Lee and their spouses along with her husband of 27 years, John Willis Haynes and his 2 children. She is also survived by sisters, Gracie Evans and Deanie Jensen, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She loved the Lord, her family and fishing. Sunday lunch was a regular event at Mom's home and she made us promise to keep meeting after her passing. Thanks to all the family and friends for calls and support during her illness and special care by her niece, Sharon Smith. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside and funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2018. Burial will follow at Forest Park West.
