Jo Ann Carter

Bossier City, LA - A memorial service celebrating the life of Jo Ann Carter, 78, to be held at a later date with her son, Michael Gresham officiating. Jo Ann was born on September 16, 1943, in Winnfield, LA to Roy Thomas and Nancy Lee Jordan Waxley and passed away February 24, 2022, at her residence. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Lamar Gresham and second husband, Curtis Dillard Carter. Left to cherish her memory are her partner, Robert English of Bossier City, LA; son, Michael Gresham of Keatchie, LA; daughter, Rebecca Gurganus of Trout, LA; brother, Thomas Waxley of Winnfield, LA and sister-in-law, Larue Waxley of Winnfield, LA; seven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and nephews, Layne Waxley of Houston, TX and Payne Waxley of Bossier City, LA.
